end of blaugust

I really don’t know what happened this summer, I was really looking forward to it and I just somehow missed it.  This summer has just been so busy with so much to organise – I’m completely out of routine and couldn’t make room in my head for either gaming or blaugust…  it’s hard writing about games when you’re barely playing anything.  I feel especially guilty as I signed up to be a mentor and I’ve basically been absent most of the time.  Huge apologies to Belghast, my fellow mentors and, well, everyone.  I’ve decided that I will try to make up for it in September and try to get commenting etc then.

I’m going to try and get into the habit of posting mon/weds/fri again.  Actually, how do you guys keep on top of reading others’ blog posts and twitter/discord in general?  do you set a time? check a couple of times a day?  any tips would be most welcome 🙂

I have played a little bit – some Banished and Stardew Valley here and there.   Dimzad and the Hobbit have been away a couple of nights so I actually got some time to escape and game, so I started playing Mass Effect: Andromeda on the Xbox and I’m surprised by just how much I’m enjoying it.  I’m a bit irritated because I started playing on Dimzad’s account and I’m trying to work out a way to transfer screenshots to my PC.  I took a terrible quality snap on my phone to tide me over…

I left Twitter and suddenly found I have a lot more time to read entire thoughts from people. I was told long ago when I created my first blog. If you cannot say it in one tweet, it should be a blog post. Thank you for volunteering to be a mentor. 😃

I usually check Feedly a few times a day to see if there is any new post. Although if I see a link to a blog post on a tweet that usually gets priority. 🙂

Usually I read right away too, unless it is from someone I know write very lenghty posts (*coughs*likeme*coughs*) in which case it might depend on how much in the mood I am to read. If I am not then I might do it at another day. Topical posts go the same way. For example, I haven’t watched the recent gameplay video for Cyberpunk 2077 yet so I haven’t read posts about it yet.
