all the usuals…

I haven’t branched out into new games this past year, I’ve stuck with the cosy and familiar.

Currently playing:

Black Desert Mobile – I can’t make my mind up about this.  It’s a very pretty afk grinder with enough to do to still make you feel as though you’re playing.  In a way, it’s better than the PC version.  Perhaps I’ll write a longer post about this.

Lord of the Rings Online – I’ve been playing this quite a lot in the last year, it’s currently taking a bit of a backseat as I’m caught up on the story and wondering if I *really* want to complete deeds / reputation etc.  Pic is of my hobbit playing his hobbit hunter – I’m trying to get him a furry cloak / armour so he can go full teddy bear (for my own amusement, he’s 11 now and probably wouldn’t be so impressed with it!)

Enderal (Skyrim mod) – this is pretty enjoyable.  I’m still near the beginning (still at Ark), however this, combined with the ESO Skyrim announcement, has just made me patch ESO…

Elder Scrolls Online – I haven’t played this for nearly a year, currently downloading…

In the queue:

Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 plus the new one that sits in the middle.

Tempted by:

The Outerworlds, Everquest 2

Waiting for:

News on Dragon Age 4, Mass Effect ?, and Elder Scrolls 6 (hahaha)

  1. Glad to see you’re out there playing games! Super nice to see you post. I’m seeing lots of good comments on Black Desert mobile. I have to the screechy little black cloud in the mobile version? He really ruined the regular version for me.

      thank you 🙂

yeah… the story still revolves around the black spirit – however… it does feel less in your face than on PC -i’m fairly sure they have made some changes to his sound effects. might be worth checking?

I’m enjoying the mobile version of BDO—no forced PVP, yay! Right? I’m hoping it stays that way. Are you updating ESO for this year’s Skyrim content?

the optional pvp is fantastic – I’ve enjoyed the node wars but am useless 1vX so it’s been really enjoyable! I’m wondering if it’ll come to the PC version…. I do miss riding my horse

yeah I think it was a combination of the eso skyrim, playing Enderal (the skyrim mod), and there’s always achieving that perfect modded Skyrim game that always lurks!!

I played Outerworlds and really enjoyed. But once I was done I was happy to leave it there. 30-50hrs playtime.
Looking forward to New World now got on alpha and was pleasantly surprised. So pre-ordered for May release and Closed beta in April 2020.
